Handknits, sweaters, silk, lingerie, swimwear, activewear, and any finished fiber project that needs gentle, thorough cleaning. Works on both natural and synthetic fibers. Also great as a multi-surface home cleaner, just a couple drops in water or half a teaspoon per gallon.
Add a small amount to your water before submerging your fiber. A little goes a long way with this concentrated formula. Soak for 15 to 20 minutes, keeping water temperature consistent throughout. Rinse with water of the same temperature to avoid shocking the fibers and causing felting. Avoid agitating or wringing.
Use the delicate or soak cycle only. Add Beyond Fibre Wash to the water before adding your fiber, and keep water temperature consistent between wash and rinse. HE washer compatible.
Cold, warm, or hot water all work. That said, matching your rinse temperature to your wash temperature matters more than the specific temperature you choose. Sudden temperature changes are the most common cause of unintentional felting.
For best results, follow up with Fibre Rinse or Beyond Soft for a fragrance-free finish that adds softness and reduces static. If you’re working with raw or heavily soiled fiber, start with Power Scour or Beyond Clean first.
