We had to make a bigger The Billie bag for those knitting larger sweaters and throws. We’ve been working with Tallahasseean, Jenny Bickley, owner of Honey Bee Fabrications, to get the right features. When I say, Girl-Made Bags, we really mean it! Jenny guided us as we got it right:

• outside zipper pocket, big enough for important notions
• squishability; we wanted texture to the fabric and also wanted to be able to squish down into our larger totes/backpacks
• big enough for many cakes of yarn, even worsted or bulky
• the right cinch, the right cord, easy on your wrist to pull tight and closes nicely
• a light-ish, smooth cotton, lining, to see what you need inside
• 3 pockets inside for more notions, including 2 narrow ones for your awesome tool or pen
• handles that lets you grab it easily and still be able to open the bag up wide
• the all-important gusset, a rectangular bottom! 15″ across, 10.5″ tall, 7″ deep

Due to hand-crafted nature of the bag, design placement will vary on the fabric.

*A note on our Tallulah fabric: our first generation of fabric read more teal, this new gen is a little lighter, more of a true sky blue – we added a new picture to show you the slight difference in color!
