We saw Caitlin Hunter’s Sitzmark on Instgram and knew we had to make it! Cadence, Melissa and Madelyn all started plotting and Melissa immediately thought of offering a class! Inspired by vintage ski sweaters and named for the iconic slope-side bar/restaurant at Alyeska, this yoke sweater is knit in DK weight. Sitzmark is also a word for the depression, hole, or indentation left by a skier falling backward in the snow! 😉 A great first colorwork project.
Sitzmark is knit from the top down in the round featuring short row shaping for the back neck and a bold yoke motif and colorwork sleeve details.
