The Sabir Cardigan by Zanete Hussain of Zanete Knits is a textured, Aran-style design that cleverly avoids traditional cables. Inspired by a Vogue Knitting Live class with Andr deCastro, the pattern uses a mix of slipped and tuck stitches to create its distinctive honeycomb effect. Originally designed as a playful twist on a plain and simple cardigan for her partner, the Sabir Cardigan features thoughtful details like double-knit button bands for structure and clean edges. Best knit in a light, airy DK-weight yarn to highlight the texture without adding bulk.
