Pegulhal is a breed specific yarn made of Bordaleira da Serra da Estrela and portuguese Merino (native Portuguese sheep breeds). This is a fingering weight yarn for knitters who like non superwashwoolyyarns, dyed in the wool and ideal for stranded knitting projects.

Pegulhal will bloom and soften considerably after being washed. We recommend washing and blocking your swatch to determine gauge.
