Passion is inspired by France, by the opulence of Walls of Roses a la Dior Paris 2012, the joy and opulence of weddings (including our own in January 2015) where our friend, owner of Passion Growers, delivered 3500 opulent roses that took over our house with astounding color and lush fragrance. Inspiration includes how modern and rococo mix, modern art installations in guilt ballrooms such as The Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. The juxtaposition of modern and classic, exuberance and constraint. Colors and color names are inspired by Laduree macarons, in modern French colors in acidy tones that are powdery and refined for a worldwide market. — Nicolette Mayer
