The Falkland DK base from Les Garonsour ecru take on our beloved British baseis a luxurious DK-weight yarn spun from a beautiful blend of Bluefaced Leicester wool and Falkland Corriedale wool. The construction, twist and feel of this yarn perfectly matches that of the British DK.

Sourced from the Falkland Islands, Corriedales combine the best qualities of Merino and Lincoln sheep, resulting in a yarn that is both warm and breathable. When blended with trusted Bluefaced Leicester wool, this combination provides a luxurious softness with a slight luster, perfect for creating long-lasting, beautiful garments.

All yarns are dyed in a smoke-free environment. We rinse and wash your yarns abundantly, but dark or saturated might bleed a little. Please wash your knits in cold water, with mild soap.
