Learn to knit at our beautiful shop in Halstead, Essex.

Continue your knitting journey with Anni as she shows you how to how to work simple stitch patterns, increase and decrease stitches, and how to pick up stitches for edgings. We will also decode the language of knitting patterns so that you are confident in following written instructions and charts to create your knitted items, learning the meaning of knitting terms such as k2tog tbl and C6B, and the difference between tinking and frogging! Along the way Anni will share lots of tips to help you turn this skill into a lifelong creative hobby.

This class is being taught by local knitwear designer and tutor Anni Howard, who has had designs published in books and magazines and by commercial yarn companies.

Please bring with you your favourite 4.00mm needles and a ball of DK yarn. In addition, if you are working on a project that youd like help with, bring it along too.

Tea/coffee and of course cake are provided.
