Kate of McMullin Fiber Co. hascreated twoexclusivecolorways inspired by the colorful tide pools at Olympic National Park, captured by Z. Van Duivenbode of the National Park Service.

“The presence of star fish in the bays in the Pacific Northwest is always a wonderful sign of a healthy ecosystem,” Kate says. “Whenever we visit we spend a good portion of our time kayaking the bay looking for starfish. Some years the orange starfish are harder to find, but its usually the purple ones that are the most elusive. Whenever anyone finds one, they paddle back to the beach and spread the word to all the cousins and lead a little tour group out so we can all (from a respectful distance of course) take a peek and see it for ourselves.”
