A lightweight cardigan or pullover in ten sizes (XS/S/M/L/1X/2X/3X/4X/5X/6X) with subtle unisex stylinga plain fabric in fine, tweedy wool, accented by vertical bands of twist-stitch detail to add just the right touch of texture. Worked in a lofty, lightweight fingering yarn, this sweater is destined to become a year-round favorite for home, office, and travel.
For the vest:

Shown here in size small / 39 inches, we eliminated the sleeves and added armhole ribbing to match the neckband (so easy to do; pick up 2 sts for every 3 rows around the armhole), then shortened the side seams to a modern 13-inch length (or any length you desire).
