From the ever popular book,Knitted Kalevala published by Laine, we’ve put together the yarn set for Iku-Turso knit with Rauma Vams. This cozy, top-down sweater has a colorwork yoke, hem, and cuffs for lots of visual and knitting interest. Rauma Vams is a chunky, aran weight yarnthat will knit up quickly and result is a cozy and woolly sweater. With a long folded collar, this sweater will be a beautiful and wonderfully warm garment.

As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein of the main color.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Size 1 – 36 to 40
Size 2 -44″ to 47″
Size 3 -51″ to 59.5″
Size 4 -up to 65″

Sizes are based on finished measurements. The sweater is designed to have a slightly oversized fit. Choose a size with approx. 46 / 1015 cm of positive ease at chest.Selecting the correct amount of ease is a very personal, please choose a size based on your own preferences.

NEEDLES
US 10 / 6 mm circular needles (3240 / 80100 cm) for Stockinette Stitch and colourwork, US 8 / 5 mm circular needles (3240 / 80100 cm) and DPNs (if not using the Magic Loop Method) for ribbing. Or size to get gauge.

GAUGE
13 sts x 15 rnds = 4 x 4 / 10 x 10 cm with US 10 / 6 mm needles in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking.
