The Halligarth is a beautiful shawl design from Gudrun Johnston. As a native of Shetland, Gudrun designed this shawl as a tribute to a beautiful woodland. Atraditional lace motif depicts a copse of trees to adorn this gorgeous triangular shawl.

Corinne knit this shawl in our own Rambler Yarn and the results are everything we dream of in a squishy, soft, and cozy wear. Yarn sets for Halligarth are available here in all of our Rambler colors!

Construction: From Ravelry: This shawl is constructed by knitting the center triangle first. The center triangle starts with 1 stitch. Stitches are increased by working a yarn over (YO) at the beginning of every row. Stitches are then picked up from the yarnover loops on the edges of the Triangle, and a couple of rows are worked before proceeding to the edging, which is attached to the live stitches of the center triangle at the end of every other row.
