Designed by Evelyn A. Clark, the Field of Flowers shawl evokes a field of flowers bordered by waves of old shale. This Shetland style, square lace shawl or throw is designedto be made with DK-, fingering-,or lace-weight yarns, using one or multiple colors.

Blocked Size:

• In DK-weight yarn: 60″ (152 cm) square.
• In fingering- or lace-weight: 47″ (119 cm) square worked on size 5 (3.75mm) needles or 57″ (145cm) square worked on size 6 (4mm) needles.

Yarn:
For DK-weight throw or shawl: 520 yds (475m) each of 4 colors of 8-ply wool in natural (A), verylight brown (B),light brown (C), brown (D).
