Description

Our 2024 Mid-Mitten Shop Hop pattern is now available to everyone! Knit up a hoodie to stay warm this winter. This is for a PDF pattern. Our sample was made in Madelinetosh Farm Twist in the color Star Scatter.

Pattern calls for:

Materials
Madelinetosh Farm Twist. 100% superwash merino wool. 225 yards /100g – 2 skeins. Or a heavy dk/light worsted weight yarn, approximately 450 yards.
US 5 – 24 circular needle for inside facing
US 5 – double pointed needles (only 2 needed) optional for i-cord drawstring
US 6 – 24 circular needle for body of hood
US 7 – 24 circular needle for bottom of cowl
be sure to check gauge and adjust needle sizes as necessary.

Gauge
21 stitches x 29 rows = 4 stitches in stockinette stitch using middle needle size, knit flat.
