Hard-wearing workhorse 220 Superwash provides affordability, versatility, and durability. Perfect for blankets, garments, and accessories of all sorts, and for all ages. Classified as an “easy care” yarn, 220 Superwash is machine washable and machine dryable, the manufacturer noting that items made from 220 superwash should be placed in a mesh bag and laundered in plenty of water, with a gentle soap particularly suited for wool (such as Eucalan or Soak). The manufacturer also strongly suggests placing 220 Superwash items in the dryer, the tumble-drying process allowing the fibers to spring back into shape and preventing overstretching. Machine wash, gentle cycle, and tumble dry on low heat.
