• We’ve created kits for thisstunning newest pattern by the amazing Andrea Mowry, aka @dreareneeknits.

  Zigis acomfy sweater, worked from the bottom up, with chevron colourwork and drop shoulders. We have kits in the original colourway, and some other alternatives we love!

  Andreahas used Biches & Bches Le Lambswool for herdesign. We have used Le Petit Lambswoolheld double – the rustic and lofty fingering weight is wonderful for colourwork, blocks beautifully and comes in a stunning, and much wider range of colours than Le Lambswool.

  170m, 50g per skein. (We also recommend using Le Petit Lambswool held double, or gorgeousWoolstok Worsted!)

  – 4.5mm (US 7) 80 – 100cm (32 – 40) circular needles, plus another needle for 3-needle bind-off
  – 4.5mm (US 7) preferred needles for small circumference knitting (such as Magic Loop or DPNs)
  – 3.75mm (US 5) 80 – 100cm (32-40)/circular and preferred needles for small circumference knitting for cuffs and collar.

• the little story: when starting to think about a woollen company, Astrid was in search of the yarn she wanted to knit her designs with and offer in the shop.

  She was looking for something rustic, that reminded her of a trip to Norway in 1995, discovering the pure wool from their Norwegian sheep, as well as her Scandinavian roots, a yarn that would make a sturdy sweater, to be worn through the years. and that rustic yarn would have to be blended with a soft feeling, that felt good knitting with, and of course, that felt good wearing.
