This gauge swatch ruler easily clips onto your knitting bag or key ring. The gauge, which measures 3×3 inches is made from cherry wood and has a two inch ruler and an five centimetre guide.

To use the tool, hold it up against your stitch work and count how many stitches fit inside the cutout area. By placing the tool over your work you can see how many stitches you have per inch and per centimeter. The bottom slot measurements are in inches and the side slot measurements are in centimeters.

Side note: If you need more stitches per inch, swatch with smaller needles, and if you need fewer stitches per inch, swatch with larger needles.
